How many of my brothers and sisters in Christ want to join together to displace the evil in our cities, states, and nation? How many of you want to see every young child, man, and woman filled with the Spirit walking in the fear of the Lord? How many of you want to see Satan and his kingdom decimated and the righteous rule of God, manifest, in our nation transforming our national and local leaders? If so, let’s partner together DAILY, to pray that God will be merciful and forgive this nation of its rebellion and be brought to repentance.

1. I encourage you not only to confess your sins, the sins of this nation unto the Lord, but ALSO those who came before us. As Nehemiah prayed, “Let your ear be attentive and your eyes open, to hear the prayer of your servant that I now pray before you day and night for the people of Israel your servants, confessing the sins of the people of Israel, which we have sinned against you. Even I and my father’s house have sinned” (Neh. 1:6). “Our fathers sinned, and are no more; and we bear their iniquities.” (Lam. 5:7)

2. Ask the Lord Jesus to judge/destroy the spiritual wickedness in heavenly places that deceives people to live according to the flesh. As Paul writes, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” (Eph. 6:12)

3. Seek the Lord to grant repentance to those who are blinded by sin and Satan. Paul writes, “God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will” (2 Tim 2:25-26). “If our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing. In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God” (2 Cor. 4:3-4).

4. Continually ask for the Lord to regenerate hearts and to maintain their regeneration by living a Spirit-filled life centered on the fear of the Lord. As Jesus says, “If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him” (Luke 11:13)! As Paul states, “And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery, but be filled with the Spirit” (Eph. 5:18). “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction” (Prov.1:7).

Again, if you desire to see the Lord move on our cities, states, and nation, dig in, and pray like you have never done before! The above is just a guide that may help; however, follow the lead the of the Spirit. Feel free to share this blog with others!
