Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before you to lift up the 14 million inhabitants of New England. Father, you know the history of this land. You know how our spiritual forefathers, the Pilgrims and Puritans, came to this land fleeing religious persecution with hopes of practicing there faith. You know of there efforts of evangelizing the Indians, of starting Christian Universities such as, Yale, Dartmouth, and Harvard which have become very prestigious; yet, have drifted from your foundation.
Father, may you remember the prayers of those who came before us to see your name glorified in this land. Father, I intercede for those living in the land and confess our sin and willful rebellion against your Word. I confess our penchant to shed the blood of innocent babies. I ask for forgiveness of the hundreds of thousands of men, women, and children whose blood has been shed through senseless violence. I bring before you the sins of those who have chosen to get involved with the occult, whether it is witchcraft, sorcery, divination, wizardry, New Age, or any other form. Father, may you remove all unforgiveness, bitterness, and resentment from our hearts. May you forgive all of our iniquities and blasphemies that are a stench in your nostrils.
Father, if their have been curses brought upon the land due to our sin, I ask that those curses are broken by the blood of Jesus Christ. Father may you release us from any demonic entanglements. May you cripple and decimate all demons, principalities, dominions, strongmen, and rulers that influence men, women, and children to do evil. Cut off there influence, O Lord! Send your ministering spirits to overtake there power! Fill the 14 million inhabitants of New England with your Spirit. Fill us with your wisdom, love, truth, righteousness, and joy. May you bring forth righteousness in this land that is everlasting, which will be a beacon of light in this nation and the world!
Raise up men that will preach the gospel with power while being under the influence of the Holy Spirit. Raise up older women that will be excellent godly examples to younger women and girls exemplifying gentleness, elegance, and purity. Father, may you strengthen homes. May Husbands and Wives live at peace with one another loving each other with unconditional love, while remaining faithful to one another. May they tend to their children with care and nurture while instructing them in the Word of God.
Father, bless and protect our children from the time of conception and while they are in the world. Give them a heart that yearns for your Presence and righteousness. Father, keep them from Satan’s trappings. Preserve their purity, instill in them the affections and passions that says “yes”, to your Law, and “no” to lawlessness. Father, may you create in this generation and the generations to come, some of most godly and holy people to ever walk the face of the earth.
In all, Lord, transform our godless culture to a godly culture. May you permeate our politics and education. Father, when it comes to our politics, may you make both parties, Democrat and Republican, godly. Father, may you disqualify any man or woman running for office that does not champion the cause of virtue along with godly policies that uphold the Constitution. Father, may you place men and women in offices who have a passion for You, zealously uphold the Constitution, and genuinely care for there constituents. Expose all evil that is happening in both parties. Expose all evil happening in the Executive Branch, Senate, Congress, Judiciary, throughout the land. We confess those evils before You and ask that You remove from office anyone who is actively opposing your commandments. We align ourselves with your goodness and commandments and ask that your blessing move us to become more consistent in obeying your Word.
Thank you Father for hearing this prayer as I plead for your Spirit to consume the inhabitants of New England. I ask all of these things in the name of Jesus Christ my Lord, amen.
