Albert Pike was a confederate general and freemason. He has a statute in Washington, D.C. dressed in Masonic garb holding the book he wrote, “Morals and Dogma”.
The following are excerpts from his book,
“Masonry, around whose altars the Christian, the Hebrew, the Moslem, the Brahmin the followers of Confucius and Zoroaster, can assemble as brethren and unite in prayer to the one god who is above the Baalim.” ~Morals and Dogma, pp.321
Baalim?
As in the god, Baal, who opposed Jehovah found in the Old Testament? Correct. Quite odd isn’t it? One thing that is important to understand when it comes to advancing in Freemasonry is in every degree, Masons, are in pursuit of “light” or “enlightenment”. This begins at the very first degree. This is important to note. Read what Albert Pike writes,
“Lucifer, the Light-bearer! Strange and mysterious name to give to the Spirit of Darkness! Lucifer, the Son of the Morning! Is it he who bears the Light, and with its splendors intolerable blinds feeble, sensual or selfish Souls?” ~Morals and Dogma, pp. 321
Another high ranking Freemason by the name of Manly P. Hall also references Lucifer as being the god behind Freemasonry when he writes,
“The day has come when Fellow Craftsman must know and apply their knowledge. The lost key to their grade is the mastery of emotion, which places the energy of the universe at their disposal. Man can only expect to be entrusted with great power by proving his ability to use it constructively and selflessly. When the Mason learns that the key to the warrior on the block is the proper application of the dynamo of living power, he has learned the mystery of his Craft. The seething energies of Lucifer are in his hands, and before he may step onward and upward, he must prove his ability to properly apply energy. He must follow in the footsteps of his forefather, Tubal-Cain, who with the mighty strength of the war god hammered his sword into a plowshare.” ~The Lost Keys of Freemasonry, pg. 48
Manly P. Hall also wrote the work “The Secret Teachings of All Ages: An Encyclopedic Outline of Masonic, Hermetic, Qabbalistic and Rosicrucian Symbolical Philosophy”. I would believe that he is a reliable source.
Many who are in Masonry are unaware of the Luciferian influence behind it. However, a clue that lets us know something is wrong is the syncretism of gods at the Freemasonry altar. We know this is a violation when it comes to Christianity due to the first commandment, “You shall have no other gods before me”. In Scripture, whenever Israel mixed their worship of the true God with idols, it always brought judgment.
Also, we know the god of Freemasonry presents a “generic god”. For instance, a name that Freemasons call their god is “The Great Architect of the Universe or “The Grand Geometrician of the Universe.” Indeed, within the Masonic Bible, the qualifications of a candidate are as stated, “He must believe in the existence of a supreme Deity and must be yielding to his superintending power and divine providences.” Again, this would be in contradiction to the Christian faith because we are called to worship ONLY the true God through His Son, Jesus Christ. In short, the god of Freemasonry is not the God of the Bible. This is more evident by what Manly P. Hall and Arthur Pike state in their voluminous works about Lucifer being the “light” not Jesus.
This is not even scratching the surface. Yet, this should give us an idea that this organization is not what it seems to be. Again, this is not to condemn those who have said the oaths, participated in the rituals, or identify as Freemasons. However, I would strongly recommend renouncing your affiliation with this group, asking God for forgiveness, and turning from this deception. There is REAL demonic spiritual power at work even if you think it is not.
Think on these things.
“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God” (2 Cor. 6:14-16)
“I do not want you to be participants with demons. You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You cannot partake of the table of the Lord and the table of demons. Shall we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he? (1 Cor. 10:20-22)
