“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,”declares the Lord. As the heavens are higher than the earth,so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isa. 55:8-9)
Would you risk your life to save the terrorist who is hell bent on destroying you and your family?
A terrorist that was in the Bible was Paul. Read his words, “For you have heard of my previous way of life in Judaism, how intensely I persecuted the church of God and tried to destroy it” (Gal. 1:13).
Paul was terrorizing the church by throwing Christians in prison and participated in murdering them; yet, Jesus died for him and saved him (Acts 9).
Would you not agree the above verse is true, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways?” In addition, if Jesus can save and change a terrorist who hated Him and His church, He can save and change the murderer, the adulterer, homosexual, perjurer, thief, or etc.
The love of Jesus is real. Call out to Him.
“God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Since, therefore, we have now been justified by his blood, much more shall we be saved by him from the wrath of God. For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved by his life.” (Rom. 5:8-10)
